Our Costa Rica Golf Tours include CAMPS, TOURNAMENTS and TEAM TRIPS. Join a camp as an individual -OR- come on a team trip with your school or country club or assemble your own team for the trip.

As a player from the US you will play competitive matches against Costa Rican players and receive individual instruction by Costa Rican PGA Teaching Pros. We will work with your coaches and the Costa Rican golf pros to match up the talent level for matches. Depending on your level, you will play against high school teams, clubs or universities.

The trips also include community service projects, adventure excursions, and total immersion into Costa Rica’s culture. You will gain confidence, make new friends, and really test your game against international competition. And learn and practice Spanish.

 

Trip Highlights

Championship Golf Courses. Three rounds of golf at a mix of Costa Rica’s 18-hole championship courses. Course locations range from the suburbs of San José to the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Compete in min-tourney’s against Costa Rican players & golf academies.

Adventure Excursions. Rainforest excursions including wildlife viewing, ziplining, waterfall swims, and hanging bridge hikes. Beach time on the Pacific coast for swimming, surfing class and seafood dinners.

Community Service. Volunteer and give back to the local community. Available activities include holding golf clinics for local kids, serving meals at food banks, and turtle conservation.

Cultural Immersion. Make new friends and learn about the culture and wildlife of Costa Rica. Practice Spanish & enjoy new foods as you meet Costa Rican golfers and host families.

Team Building. Experience a life-changing trip abroad with your teammates. Enjoy world-class golf along with excursions, service and cultural immersion in Costa Rica.

 

The Golf Courses

(The specific golf courses for your trip depends on your itinerary)

La Iguana Golf Course. 6,698 yard, par 72 championship holes designed by Ted Robinson. Located on the coast line of Puntarenas, the layout includes exotic native plants, banana trees, orchids, sloths, monkeys and more than 150 species of birds — and iguanas that hang out at the putting green.

Valle Del Sol Golf Course. 7,011 yards, par 72, 18 hole professional championship golf course designed by American Tracy May. Located in San José’s exclusive Parque Valle del Sol residential area. Features wide undulating fairways surrounded by majestic trees and vast lakes that attract a diverse and vibrant wildlife.

Cariari Country Club. 6,590 yard, par 71 George Fazio course that plays longer than the yardage. Built by on a former coffee plantation, the course is heavily wooded with narrow fairways and large greens lean with sand traps throughout.

The Ocean Course at Peninsula Papagayo. 6,788, Par 72 ocean view Arnold Palmer course. Ranked “Best 100 Courses Outside the United States” by Golf Digest. Top 20 most scenic golf courses in the world according to Travel and Leisure. Nearly every hole offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

Reserva Conchal Golf Course. 7,021 yard, par 71 championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Offering 18 distinct holes in the middle of a tropical paradise. Challenging holes, well-kept greens. Lookout for wildlife including Howler Monkeys, iguanas, many birds, and even crocodiles.

Hacienda Pinilla Golf Club. 7,300-yard, par 72 masterpiece designed by Mike Young. The course blends marshes, woodlands, and seaside views to produce a demanding yet beautiful round of golf.
